We love this pretty monogram provided by Bride Amanda done all in black. It's just so classic, clean, and beautiful... just as we're sure Amanda & Jeff's wedding will be in May '09. Best wishes to this super sweet couple, it has been a pleasure to work with Amanda and she's promised to send us pictures after the wedding so we can have her and Jeff as one of our "Featured Couples!"

It's so easy to get wrapped up in the little details... sometimes we need to just step back and remember what's most important... remember the whole reason for all the planning and preparations... love. This custom "love" parasol says it pure and simple.

Have you heard of The Wedding Lens? If you haven't, it's a really ingenious site where your wedding guests can upload all their digital photos to one album... that way you'll have them all in one place! It's a great way to conveniently collect and store all the fabulous photos your friends and family have taken of your special day. Now you can forego those silly disposable cameras that never produce any decent pictures anyway (my apologies to anyone who used them... but I've never been a fan). I explored The Wedding Lens website and found it to be very user friendly and surprisingly simple to use... go check it out and see for yourself, it's pretty sweet.

Okay damask lovers out there... we have a treat for you! We are so super proud to share our first ever hand-painted damask monogram aisle runner. How awesome is this?!! This runner is for couple Wendy & Stephen who already had this monogram when they came to us requesting that we paint it onto a runner for them. We have to admit this was waaaaaaaayyy more time consuming than we had anticipated but in the end it was so well worth all the hard work. Lots of love went into the creation of this runner... that's for sure! We wish Wendy & Stephen the very best for their May '09 wedding!

Oh so sassy are these vibrant mod dinner menus by Modern Girl Invitations. Modern Girl also has a fun, fresh, and of course "modern" selection of wedding invites, save-the-dates, thank you cards, placecards, programs, and more... if you're a modern bride this is the site for you.

Bride Carolyn requested one of our favorite monograms (30A) for her custom aisle runner. This one always turns out so beautifully and we love its fresh modern feel... especially with Carolyn & Michael's color combo. Best wishes to this sweet couple for their Feb '09 wedding!

I've been meaning to post about this great little site for a while now. Name Birdie is a new site that helps newly married brides change their name with a few simple clicks. Now don't get all excited... no babies on board at the I.D.O. studio, but we did just finish creating our first ever baby banner! Now as you know we're all about weddings over at I.D.O. but Mommy-To-Be, Joy, loved the look of our monogram 16A and thought it would be the perfect touch to have one of our hand-painted banners hanging over the crib in the nursery. We really enjoyed making this banner and we hope it brings Joy and her beautiful baby boy lots of happiness!

Bride Donel already had a pretty 3 initial monogram when she came to us and requested a black banner with white ribbon edging, a personalized unity candle set, and a custom aisle runner. Best wishes to Donel and Dennis who will be married January 31st!

We do a lot of thank you parasols but this one's a little different... bride Brittany asked us to add on the date underneath, which we of course were happy to do. There's always the option of adding on the date to any of our personalized items for just an additional $10. We love how this turned out and we know it will make for a beautiful Thank You photo! We get a lot of requests for memory candles... they really are a great way to quietly remember loved ones who have passed. Bride Amanda chose a scripture for her memory candle and it turned out beautifully. Amanda also has a runner in the works which we will be sharing soon so be on the lookout for that!

Is it any wonder why monogram 10D is one of our favorites to use on items? This one really speaks for itself... best wishes to Jaime and Steven!

The first parasol is for Bride Dominique who requested monogram 1D on her parasol, which we were happy to use with a slight adjustment of centering the ampersand to the left.

The second parasol is for couple Shanna & Steven who requested font 6 in their pretty color combination. The first candle is also for Shanna & Steven, a 6" memory candle listing 3 names of remembrance.

The second candle is a unity candle set for Bride Brittany who requested monogram 3D... she also has a parasol on the way which we'll be sharing tomorrow so be sure to check back for that!

You may remember Patricia's beautiful parasol that I raved about a few posts back... well I also mentioned that she had several other beautiful items that were in the works. So without further ado... here they are, and may we just say... they are gorgeous!

Let's start with her unity candle set, she selected monogram 43C and requested to do two ribbons, which we were happy to accommodate (like we always say... if you want something that you don't see on our site just ask and we most likely can help!)

Next, Patricia informed us that she already had a damask aisle runner but she loved our banners so much that she wanted to get a banner to block off her aisle from the guests... what a great idea! She chose monogram 18C with a custom font option for this banner and added-on the pretty ribbon edging option; which definitely adds that little something extra!

She also ordered a verse banner and a table runner w/ monogram 35D with the same matching ribbon edging... it really pulls everything together even more.

We're back after a very long and emotionally draining last few days. We just wanted to say a quick thank you to all our friends and clients for your thoughtful e-mails and cards and most importantly for your support and condolences. It is good to be back and immersed in the wedding world once again. We are working hard to get back to all the correspondence we've received while we were out of town and are we're pumping out orders. Stay tuned cause we'll be back shortly with a long overdue post of some incredibly fabulous items for couple Stephen & Patricia!

So originally on Friday we were headed to a wedding but unfortunately got some very sad news of a death in the family and we ended up at a funeral instead. We are still currently out of town spending time with loved ones. We really appreciate your patience during this difficult time and will of course do everything that we can to get back on schedule when we return (which has still not yet been determined at this point but we're anticipating a return on Wednesday). All of your e-mails and orders are very important to us and we will return all correspondence as soon as possible. Thanks again for your patience...

And we're off... to a winter wedding in Philadelphia for friends Jen & Michael. Jen & Michael may just be one of the cutest couples I've ever seen, and I can't wait for the wedding. I was so excited that Jen wanted a custom aisle runner for the ceremony. A while back I wrote all about Jen's fun bridal shower and the items I.D.O. created for it (the parasol and banner) but I also mentioned the aisle runner that we'd be creating... well here it is! Jen was drawn to monogram 13D (which many of our brides are... it's definitely a popular choice) and wanted it in her colors, classy gold and black. We added a little sparkle to it just for that added special touch and love the way it turned out... we can't wait to see it in action at the wedding. We'll be back on Monday (hopefully with lots of great pictures from the wedding!) Have a great weekend!

Remember the chic and stylish logos we just created for Rachelle's new company (just two posts down if you need a reminder)? Well she loved them so much that she selected her favorite and asked us to create a double-sided business card for her as well. We absolutely adore these and are so proud to be a part of helping Rachelle to brand her business! Once again all the information has been changed to protect the privacy of our client.

April & David will be married next weekend and chose monogram 3D to adorn their custom aisle runner. While we normally use lighter colors for the last initial of this monogram and the darker color for the names and date, April specifically requested for the names and date to be in pink with the last initial in chocolate... we think it was a stunning choice! Best wishes April & Daniel!

We are so excited to share these we can hardly stand it. Rachelle came to us with a request for couture, chic, stylish logos for her new company. She wanted them to be feminine and she also mentioned incorporating damask or a chandelier... can we say dream client?!!! We loved all of these ideas and totally ran with them. L-O-V-E!!! Rachelle is currently waiting for all her copyrights and trademarks to go through so she asked that we not post the name of her new company yet (the real company name is pretty awesome and believe it or not these logos look even better with the real name!) so please note this is a fictitious name to protect our client's privacy. Once everything goes through we will definitely share a link to her website as we know it will be fabulously chic!

We have some exciting new changes over at I Do Originals coming in 2009! The first involves our parasols... we have added some fun new font options to provide a little more variety, so head on over and check it out!

Pictured above in the first picture is a pretty parasol for bride Patricia (who has also ordered a bunch of other fabulous items which will be posted next week!) in one of the new fonts, font #3. Isn't it awesome? Patricia special requested this font and as soon as we completed the parasol we knew we just had to add this font to our options. Thanks Patricia!

Happy New Year! A new year brings us our first Featured Couple of 2009 over at I Do Originals. A big congratulations to Alyssa & Kareem. This stunning couple was married at the Kona Village Resort in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. We created a custom single initial parasol for them which they used in a variety of breathtaking portraits by their incredibly talented photographers. We are so thankful that they shared these beautiful images with us and it was an honor to be a part of their special day. Congratulations Alyssa & Kareem!
