Custom Monograms
I just got done creating these custom monograms and wanted to share them! This lovely bride contacted me and asked for monograms that incorporated the infinity symbol. I love the idea of using the infinity symbol and I automatically got a ton of ideas as soon as I heard this was a common element that would be used throughout her wedding. To further explain what she wanted this bride selected specific monograms from our pre-ready monograms that appealed to her. By doing this, I was able to get a good feel of the types of fonts and overall style that she was drawn to. I love the way they turned out! I especially love the way some of them interlock throughout the infinity symbol.
*Note: Custom monograms come in sets of five; however we only chose to display the four monograms that do not include the last name.

Know of a bride who used iDoOriginals?
If you know a bride that used iDoOriginals.com for any of their personalized details... I need their help! I'm starting to put together a portfolio album of all the past work we've done and while I have a million pictures of items after they've just been completed I'm really looking to use more photos from actual weddings. So... if you know of anyone who has used our services- please tell them we'd love for them to share pictures with us! Pictures can be sent to info@idooriginals.com. If you frequent a wedding message board ask around for us!
In the meantime, we're still working hard trying to keep up with all these orders that are flying in... you know we love it though! :) Here are some of the most recent items we've completed.

Parasols in place of flowers....
I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself. The super sweet photographer Christina Ramage of CJ Photography contacted me yesterday with the nicest e-mail stating:
"I had the honor to photograph an amazing couple on July 28th 2007, Racquel and Juan. They had an absolutely beautiful aisle runner, table runner and parasols. I found out that you were the company that provided these customized items for my client. I want to let you know that you work was high quality, artistic, clean and very professional."
How sweet is that! She totally made my day. She then proceeded to send me the most beautiful photographs of Racquel and Juan's wedding... specifically pictures of the items I had created for them. I was blown away with Christina's work and I'm thrilled that she was kind enough to share these photos with me. I plan on featuring Racquel & Juan as our Featured Couple in February but I wanted to go ahead and share this photo to demonstrate the way Racquel ordered initial parasols for each of her bridesmaids to carry in place of flowers... what a great idea!

Tagged!
Wow! I've been tagged by weddingsinabox! This is my first tag so I'm pretty excited about it!
The rules are:
1. Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 random and/or weird things about yourself.
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
So... 7 random or weird things about myself...
1) I am a terrible cook... and I mean TERRIBLE. My poor husband gets home from work and all I ever have to offer him is a Lean Cuisine, Stirfry, or a sandwich. I'm working on it... but it's not going too well.
2) I am a total caffeine junky. I think I could live off Diet Mountain Dew and be happy.
3) I'm obsessed with my basset hound, Ruby. I treat her like she's a person... here she is when we were laying out together getting some sun this summer :)

4) The sound of feet rubbing together repulses me. It seriously makes me want to throw up.
5) I love to decorate with the color green. Hubby got so sick of green in our last house he's pretty much forbidden it for our new house :(
6) I get motion sickness pretty easily. Windy roads and simulated rides... forget it. I think it's getting worse as I get older too.
7) I have a love affair with weddings. If anyone even mentions anything remotley wedding related I get all excited. Guess that's why I started I Do Originals :)
I am tagging: Magnolias, Marriage, & Manhattan, The Preppy Wedding, Brides in the City, Weddings by Socialites, i-weddings, Wedd Lady, and PlannedPerfectionPA
