Runner Eye Candy!

Here's a little eye candy for your Saturday- these are some of the recent runners I've been working on- more to come soon!

Just Ask!

Definitely a popular choice and one of my favorite monograms on aisle runners is this one shown above (10D on the monogram page of the website) that a September bride select for her aisle runner. This monogram comes standard with the date at the bottom, but this bride asked to further customized it by adding her and her fiance's name underneath for an extra special touch. The moral of the story... don't be afraid to ask for what you want. If you see a monogram that you really like on our monogram page but want it altered we can certainly do that!

All Girls Love Gold

You can't get more classy than gold... and it's popping up everywhere. Now that we're starting to look ahead to the fall months I'm seeing so many requests for gold and bronze... and I'm loving it!

SURPRISE!

A sister of the groom contacted me about making a custom verse aisle runner for her brother and his fiance's upcoming wedding. I was so excited to take her on as a client because I loved the fact that she was purchasing a runner as gift- what a neat personal idea! I have to say this runner was a huge undertaking as the quote is so long, but now that it's done I am absolutely obsessed with it! I am so excited for her to surprise her brother and his fiance'! The second set of pictures are some other items I've been working on recently. More to come soon!

Warning: Gushing Over Hubby

After seven and a half years of schooling, my hubby was well rewarded this past Saturday when he received his white coat and diploma. Because we had to head out right after graduation to go to a wedding, I decided to host a pre-graduation celebration breakfast at our house that morning. Of course I had to make some table runners for the occasion to decorate and I LOVE the way they turned out. I wanted to have a cake but figured that wouldn't be the best idea since not everyone enjoys cake for breakfast (personally I wouldn't have minded a bit!) so I decided to do a donut tower instead which was a big hit.
After the breakfast we headed over to the white coat ceremony and when I walked in and saw all those white coats hanging on the stage I couldn't help but to tear up. I am so proud of my hubby and all his hard work. He is truly amazing and I couldn't be happier for him. Congratulations Matt!!!

A sneek peek

Here's a little peek at some of the runners we've been working on! I love them all but I have to give myself a little pat on the back for the one with the grapes- I always get a little nervous when I start working on something so detailed, but I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!

Engamgent Party Success!

Happy Monday! I just got back from a fun-filled family weekend celebrating the engagement of my beautiful little sister and her fiance. Everything was wonderful... there was home cooked Itallian food, a monogrammed cake, outstanding toasts from the fathers of the bride and groom and from the groom himself, and lot of quality time with friends and family. I love the idea of engagment parties because they give everyone a chance to get to know eachother before the big day. Want to find out more about engagment parties? Check out this great online article about engagment party etiquette.

One year from today...

... my little sister will be getting married! And even better, this weekend the hubby and I will be heading up to PA for her engagement party! I'm so excited about it and I can't wait to spend time with her and the fam for the weekend. We had a ton of fun creating her engagment invites together- I designed, printed, and cut and then she assembled so it was definitely a team effort and they turned out great! To the right is a pic of the beautiful bride-to-be with her future groom.

August is full of weekend long events (engagement party, graduation, wedding, another wedding) so if you try to e-mail us over a weekend just know that we will get back to you during our normal business days (Monday-Friday)!

Happy August!

It's a new month so we have a new Featured Bride over at iDoOriginals.com! Check out our August "Featured Bride" at the bottom of our home page. This month our featured bride is Navette who was married in May and had a gorgeous Fairy Tale themed wedding, complete with a horse and carriage that brought her right to the aisle- how cool! Navette chose to have a verse aisle runner to coordinate with her theme that read "They Lived Happily Ever After." Photo courtesy of Michael's Photography
